Does anyone know how Honeycomb updates will be handled with the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer?
I want a honeycomb tablet and while I like the features of the transformer a lot I am worried about it not being updated as soon as updates become available for honeycomb. Does anyone know how this will be handled?

It's hard to say at this point how updates will be handled. If it's anything like the phone counterparts, I'd say you wouldn't have to wait too long for updates since it's pretty much barebones Honeycomb -- aside from a few custom Asus widgets.

The Honeycomb 3.1 update came wirelessly. Any App that has an available update is flagged in the taskbar. Tapping on that goes to Marketplace with the details of the update.
The Honeycomb 3.0 to 3.1 update was very fast on WiFi and smooth to install.
