I would shoot RAW, and post-process with Noise Ninja or the Noise reduction within Adobe Lightroom.

I shoot in RAW+JPG. and I do the post processing using the RAW. I could not work out noise ninja. but I did have some success with Lightroom. However, I would like to know what is the best setting to set the noise reduction on.
eg, should I use NR off and then do it all in post or set is as Standard or Low or Strong to help lightroom removing some of the noise?

I personally shoot with NR off and deal with it after the fact. It seems that the programs deal with the Noise better when they have first crack at it.
