Question about
Do you think we'll soon be able to answer the phone on our Playbook?
I know it has a mic along with some pretty decent speakers, and, as of my latest OS update, it now tells me who's calling on the screen, and gives me the option of turning off the ringer.
Anyone have a read on how soon / if we'll be able to actually just use the Playbook as a speaker-phone?

Yes I think this will become an option. Along with texting, PIN messages, and BBM groups.
Even if it is not meant to be held up to your head, this would still be useful for using as a speakerphone and with a headset.

Many people may be surprised by this question. After all, can you imagine holding a device this size up to your head to talk? I personally don't think that would appeal to many - I certainly couldn't imagine myself taking phone calls directly over the tablet. That said, I think you are onto something ... people have talked of the tablet as a potential laptop replacement, at least for some usage scenarios (i.e. while traveling). I would also like to see smaller more portable tablets - like the Playbook - replace the need for carrying a phone around when I have the Playbook with me. Perhaps the use of a slightly more functional headset/ear piece would help enable that.
