Do you still use the Wii Remote Jacket?

I put them on when I first received them because hey, they were free and maybe one of my relatives might accidentally throw the Wiimote at the TV. But now the Wii doesn't get a lot of use except for the occasional round of Wii Fit or Netflix, and the rubber jackets sit under our coffee table like discarded insect husks.

Do you still keep the jacket on your Wiimote? Did you even bother putting them on at all? Or did you find a better solution?

Never used them. We still occasionally play with the Wii. Wii fit welcomed me back after 500+ days of absence and did not even hold a grudge.

I put the jackets on and they only 1/3 way removed for battery swaps. The Wii hasn't been used in awhile but it's nice having protection from grimy hands on the occasion when a bunch of us get in the mood for Boom Blox. I think if I removed the jackets in between uses I'd probably never bother using them.

I hardly use my Wii anymore, but I still do have the jackets on them. I am considering taking them off though because they seem to collect dust like crazy with the jackets on them, and dust on white electronics looks really gross.

When I first got my Wii, I used a third party skin. When the Nintendo ones came, I put them on. Shortly after that, my Wii went into the drawer and never again saw daylight.

To answer your question, yes, they are probably still on the remotes.

I still have it on just because that's the "official" way of using the wiimote now. It's weird but I'm anal about having may gadgets used exactly as they were intended to be. So if Nintendo suddenly removes the wiimote jacket from ads, I'll probably remove it as well.

That said, I don't even use my Wii anymore. I officially packed it away yesterday. >.<

We haven't been playing a lot of Wii Sports, so ours are in a pile in the entertainment center. When tennis comes out, though, we put them back on to be safe.

Since the Wii in our family has been relegated to a Netflix box...we have removed the jackets. Seriously...I can't remember the last time I've dropped a game disc in it.

No, I hate the jackets. I do still use the Wii from time to time though, there's a bunch of good games in my backlog.
