Question about
Do you ever get told your Gmail has been accessed from a different country?
I got this a few weeks ago...it said my account had been accessed from France. It suggested if I wasn't in France I should change my password. I did. Today I got a notice saying it had been accessed from Japan. Changed my password again but for some reason I feel like this is some error. Just wondering if anyone else ever gets this but doesn't buy into it?
Do you use something like TOR (the onion router) or other proxy servers? That might be something that could cause this if it's not something malicious.

I got it once, but thankfully never again. I say ignore it unless it becomes a problem.

My job in 2010 routed traffic through a proxy server in France or somewhere else in Europe (company is based in Europe). Maybe something similar is happening to you at work when checking your Gmail?

Got it once when I didn't use a proxy. Changed my security info right away.
