When we bought the tv set,we been told that we didn't need to buy a converter ,and now i cant find a place on the menu to get the digital signal
What can i do

In the Dynex menu under channel, the first option is going to ask you to say Air/Cable. if you are using an Antenna of some kind select Air. if you live in an area services by a cable provider that is broadcasting what is called ClearQAM then you'll select cable. The next option will be to auto scan and the TV itself will determine if the channels is analog or digital.

i did that already but dosn t recognize any station !!!,
could be the antenna ??, do i need to buy a good antena ??
I went to a electronic shop ;and the person, that told me about the setings ,show me a place in the menu ,to switch from analog to digital and i dont find it
So i will need to buy the decodificator ( is the new system now here in Canada
