Question about
dewey1973

Do these put out enough volume and have enough sound isolation to use when mowing the lawn?

I tried the Plantronics BackBeat 903+ for this purpose and they didn't cut it so I was wondering if the competition was any better.

Those products may be fine for jogging, but for mowing the lawn you want better sound isolation; I suggest in-ear monitors. Not only do they reduce noise pollution, you will probably get better sound quality as well. However, I don't use that type of headphone; and can't suggest any specific make or model to try.
