There is no difference between PC RAM and Mac RAM, it's RAM. What you need to pay attention to is the specific type of RAM it is. I don't see any stuff on your Have list to let me know which laptop you have. If you open "About this Mac" it should tell you the exact type of memory that it uses.

It is true that there is no real difference between PC and Mac RAM, but Macs are very picky about what sticks they will work with compared to PCs. Unless you have some to try, only buy RAM that states that it works with your series of Mac. Newegg has a seperate category just for Mac RAM.

I made the mistake of buying ram "too fast" for my mac laptop once. Just be careful to buy the same speed as you currently have. In my case, with a mid 2010 mbp, it takes 1067 ram but not 1333
I should have googled before buying.
However that was a bit off topic. I use corsair "pc" ram and it works wonderfully. By "pc" ram I mean it is not a set they specifically designate for apple machines.
