Do I have to change my browser in order to make igoogle my homepage?

No, You don't have to change your browser. As long as you can set homepages in the browser you have, you will be able to use igoogle. To make it easiest, log in to your igoogle and set up everything you want. After you have set it up, add a bookmark so you have easy access to it. Once that's done, set igoogle as your default page and you should be good to go. If you have questions, let me know.
