Do Cyanogen/Stock ICS ROMS work well enough on the Note

I just can't bear TouchWiz, and I love the look of the note's huge screen + S-Pen, which looks pretty cool.

Has anyone installed CM9 or a good stock ICS ROM on it, that works well enough?

AOKP and CM9 have all the essentials working. BUT BE VERY CAREFUL FLASHING ICS ROMS. With 3/4(?) of the revisions of the motherboard in the note will physically break the emmc flash storage in your phone, turning it into a paperweight. This happens with the kernels in the official ICS leaks on several samsung phones. Read instructions carefully and make sure you're 100% sure what you're doing.

Also, S-Pen support is not quite 100% there in stock aosp roms.

XDA is the place to go for GNote development so far. Not too much activity on rootzwiki.

Just for anyone else who might be wondering the same thing:

Cyanogen works great on the note, I flashed the latest nightly (623 at the time), after flashing the recommended safe kernel. Only things that don't work are:

Palm Detection

Getting some janky behaviour from the YouTube App

Other than that, super slick. A great S-Memo replacement is Memo Beta, though lack of palm detection ATM is a bit of a downer on it.
