Question about
Digital Magazines and Newspaper subscriptions
Anyone know of any subscription service that puts magazine and/or newspapers on PRS-600 ? I would rather not have to manually convert pages of digital subscriptions to pdf to load onto my device but looking for an automatic solution akin to how RSS feeds are updated. I realize the sony daily will do this but looking for an interim solution for the 600.
The closest thing you're probably going to find is Calibre: calibre.kovidgoyal.net/ -- it's a free app which you can try out. It'll download RSS feeds automatically and make an EPUB version, which you can then upload each day. There's also some RSS support in the Sony software, though it isn't quite as robust from what I can tell.

I use Calibre to do this with my PRS-505. Works great.

Thanks for the very helpful tip.. now my eBook library program will not even launch, so Calibre will be my replacement until sony creates a more stable version of ebook for mac . With all these problems I am having a pang of remorse..perhaps I should have gone for the uglier kindle :(
