Question about
Details on a sol republic amps hd in ear headphone, Regarding overall sound quality, bass quality.
I used to rock the beats tours but they felt so heavy on my ears that I stopped wearing them. They would fall out if you walked around for more than 5 minutes. I got the amps last week and they are sick. They don't weigh as much as the tours so they stay in your ear.
The sound quality is surprisingly good and there is deep bass, nice mids, and rounded highs. The sound is nicely balanced, but powerful.
The ear tips the amps come with are great, they are round and hold their shape. The tours had these cone shaped ear tips that used to hurt my ears over time. The case with the Tours is better but its not worth the extra $50 you have to pay. Amps have as good to better sound, better design and ear tips but not as good a case. Hope this helps.

Sorry, man. I totally misread your question.
Last time I talked to gdgt about it, this site is not interested in tracking headphone amps; or, more generally, combo DACs/amps that do not fall into the home theater/media center receiver category (i.e., only AVRs or stereo receivers - no dedicated amps, processors, pre-amps, etc.).
TryAVS forum ( www.avsforum.com/ ) or a headphone site (e.g. www.head-fi.org/ ) if you strike-out here.

I have been using the Amps for a good couple days now and I think so far they are great. Although while wearing them it feels like they are going to fall out, they don't so that could just be more paranoia.
Sound quality so far has been very good. Music is clear and the bass is heavy. So far I haven't been able to put them down. I'll have a full review on my site next week, but so far they are in my favor!
