Please, do not get these just for the microphone. Trust me. They look stylish, but the sound is just okay and they are extremely fragile. Every test unit I've ever seen in Best Buy is broken and there are wires hanging out. Whenever I put them on my head, they feel like they're going to snap if I adjust them wrong. That being said, try these other options:

If you're okay with in-ear phones, I suggest the Klipsch S4i. www.amazon.com/Klipsch-S4i-Premium-Noise-Isolating...

If you specifically want over ear, I suggest the Klipsch Image ONE www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Image-ONE-Earphones-3-Butto... or the Creative WP-350 that sound great and have a mic built into the side of the cup (they're also wireless) us.store.creative.com/Creative-WP350-Bluetooth-Wir....

I have just bought these headphones last Thursday, 15 December 2011, and I wish I can just return them easily like in the US (can't do that here in Singapore) and get the Klipsch image x10i.
