Has anyone else got a problem with this laptop that it randomly crashes when using the VGA port?
Have had it happen to me when using an external monitor for an extended desktop, as well as when using a projector with the machine.
It's not a specific action that causes it to happen as it seems fairly random if/when it happens.
If you've suffered from this, have you found a solution at all?

Definitely update the drivers. If your graphics adaptor is nVidia, make sure you're not using old drivers. They update quite often.
Also, if you're still on Windows XP upgrade to Vista or Windows 7 - they are much more stable in general than XP.
