Crappy speaker

Has anyone figured out how to fix the crappy speaker in this unit?

I have been quite happy with the speaker in mine. Perhaps you have a defective unit?

Agreed, I've not had an issue with the speaker at all.

I have since quit using the TomTom and now use my Google Phone instead. The TomTom is in my wife's car and she doesn't like the sound anyway, so the volume is off.
