Cracking of plastic on the top

Has anyone's plastic cracked or split along the top band of their headphones? I can't be sure if its a manufacturing defect or its just me not taking care of them!

That happened to me approximately two weeks after I got them so I returned them but now the screws on the sides are getting loose.

Hey TedatMonster,

I sent an email through the address you provided above over a week ago, however I have not heard back from them yet. Should I send another one?

I haven't much luck with my set when this happened. Contacted Monster and got a poor reply and they didn't get replaced. Not going near another or any product from Monster again. Got a set of Bower & Wilkins P5s instead and loving those.
