Count work hours in iCal

I'd like to be able to get the sum of hours of a selected group of events in iCal without manually adding them up. I've searched Google for a solution and there are a few utilities that might do that. I know it's stupid, but I don't want a whole other app just to do one simple task.

You would think the iCal inspector would give that information (Command + Option + I), similar to Finder's inspector's behavior.

If anyone happens to know of a light-weight option, plugin or script, something.

Thanks!

You might be able to put something together in Automator or by writing some Applescripts to do it.
