Question about
Can you swap SIM cards between the LTE-capable Galaxy S II Skyrocket and 3G AT&T phones, or are they incompatible?

So the SIM card only carries your plan data on it (and sometimes Contacts, but that's irrelevant here). Assuming that you have a 3G plan with your 4G phone, you should be able to put your Skyrocket SIM card into another phone and have it work properly. I can't see any technical reason they shouldn't be interchangeable - the 3G phone just wouldn't use the 4G service.
It all has to do with APN provisioning. Assuming your SIM card is provisioned for both 4G and 3G service, it shouldn't be a problem.
