Can anyone tell me who are the International Carrier Counterparts to T-Mobile, in terms of 3G spectrum?

Thanks to my pleasant experience (ETA freedom) in having bought the Nexus One out of contract on T-Mobile (you actually save $130 over 2 years with the $60 plan as opposed to the $80 subsidy plan), I was thinking of maybe buying all my future phones unlocked/contract free...

I believe that the only carriers that use the same 3g band as t-mobile are 1 or 2 of the smaller carriers in Canada. They chose to build their network on a band that isn't really used anywhere else in the world unfortunately!

The Nexus One has support for WCDMA bands I, IV, and VIII for 3G, which should cover you for most of Europe and Asia as well as for WIND (new carrier in Canada, which also uses AWS like T-Mobile for 3G). I believe that Google sells the T-Mobile one international, since it's more of a "global" phone, whereas the AT&T version really only works for Telus, Rogers, Bell, AT&T and a few other countries for 3G service.
