Can any Hackintosh experts help me get WiFi working on my HP Mini 1000?

I installed OS X 10.6 on my old HP Mini 1000 netbook the other day, and everything is running more or less fine except for on thing: I can't get WiFi working. Any Hackintosh experts have any suggestions? Nothing I've tried so far, including installing different kexts, has worked. The Mini 1000 boots up just fine, trackpad is working, etc.

UPDATE: Ended up digging some more and found a different kext which worked!

I ended up having to swap out the WiFi card with one shown to work in other Hackintosh installations. I don't recall the exact one I used, it was a Broadcom model similar to this one though.

I recently ran into a similar issue with my NIC on my hackintosh desktop.
Here is a kext that should work for your card.
www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=1538

Use kext installer and restart.

If that kext doesn't work, then you will most likely need to edit the .kext and add your device id.

Find your device id by using this 3rd party app, System Info:

There is a way, but it will probably take some tinkering. This is why so many people just order a pci-e mini card that is known to work. I had a dell with the dell 1395 wifi card (which is a broadcom) and eventually got it to work after trying different kexts. My desktop is using an intel pro 100 card and it required me to add the correct device id for the kext to work.

I had the exact same issue. Never got it working either. I'll be following this discussion hoping someone has an answer. I'd like to resurrect my Mini to be a tiny Mac.

After you have installed ideneb 10.5.5, you will find a file in your system HD root, named "Broadcom-Script". Run terminal and type commands as below:
1."sudo -s" enter and type your administrator password
2."cd /Broadcom-Script" enter
3."/Broadcom-Script/bcm43xx_enabler.sh" enter
4. follow the instructions of the enabler then your IO80211Family.kext will be patched.
5. open the package of IO80211Family.kext in your system/library/extensions.
6. in /contents/plugins you will find AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext. Open it.
7. open info.plist and change "pci14e4,4318" to "pcie14e4,4315" save and fix permission.
Done!

The bcm43xx_enabler.sh works only on iDeneb 10.5.5. Maybe it's because of the recent Airport update included.

I would first make sure that the wireless driver is installed. IF that do not work then I suggest that you go buy an external wireless card that can run on OS X machines.
