Can a gamepad be used w/o the dock?

I've read you can get a USB kit that connects to the dock port to get a USB port, but I don't know if that would work for the gamepad functionality. Is there any way to connect and use a PS3 gamepad to the Prime tablet without having the keyboard dock?

The bottom of the pad that the keyboard dock plugs into is the same port that the keyboard connects to for power, etc. the accessory you link to should work without the dock.

That said, you might consider a Bluetooth gamepad, which will not require any connection at all. An example would be the new OnLive wireless gamepad. www.onlive.com/controller NOTE: the USB dongle is for PC/MAC use and is not needed for the transformer prime.
