Cable management prevents rotation

Has anyone come up with a solution to the problem with cables getting pulled when they are placed in the cable management area of the monitor, preventing the screen from rotating from landscape to portrait? Because I sometimes like to use it in portrait, but HP didn't design the cable management with rotation in mind.

I own the w2207h and have the same problem. I guess we just have to get up and pull the cords up a little to give them some slack. If I don't, the monitor won't rotate completely.

I bought it late last year and I love this thing! It has a few little issues like the cable management system but its both a great looking and performing monitor.

No idea. But finally I know there's a cable management area on this monitor. Didn't know that before - thx! :D

I'd suggest the same. Install the cables with enough slack to enable easy rotation. This may involve supporting some length of the cable on a platform of some sort below the monitor so that the cable weight doesn't pull on the ports.

Wire ties. Just attach the wires to the cable management system with enough slack to turn it. Works for my dell
