Boxee Box vs. Popbox: FIGHT!

I am really excited for the release of both of these products. So much so that I can't manage to decide which one I would prefer to own! What do you all think? Is anyone going to go for one of these two options and why? I'm looking to get all the set-top box nerds, as well as the boxee and popcorn hour fanboys (and girls), involved on this one. Tell me why I should go for either one.

it looks to me that these devices share a ton of features and are going for the same people..

some things to consider:

both stream most codecs & formats at 1080p

Boxee Box comes with QWERTY keyboard on remote standard

both feature SD card slots

Popbox is compact and flat for entertainment center placement

both feature apps and open-source development

Popbox will be $129 vs $200 for the Boxee Box

Boxee Box comes with Wireless N standard. Popbox will offer a wireless adapter.

Boxee Box has a unique asymmetric design - both eye catching and hard to place.

Personally, I have never used Boxee and own a Popcorn Hour A-110 which satisfies all my needs. I definitely like what both of these boxes are trying to do and that they are bringing the prices of these types of devices down (the A-110 was about $250).

I'm more inclined to go for a Popbox over the Boxee because the Popbox will actually fit into my entertainment center. heh.

I've been debating this myself and I'm most likely going to get the Boxee Box. The software is amazing on this, plus there is a decent sized dev community building apps for this, plus that remote looks awesome. I tried out the Popbox for a bit, but I wasn't impressed.

Both can pretty play the same media codecs, but I think the Boxee Box would be a better investment because of the dev ecosystem it has created. I know Popbox is working on building an API, but once it comes out Boxee is going to have more functionality out of the box. But one issue with the apps on the Boxee Box is that there is no UI consistency on it since each one is coded by a different dev whereas Popbox might be a better option if you care about that sort of thing.

I don't know much about the Popbox but I can say one thing, the Boxee Box looks pretty killer.
