Question about
Bottom part of the WD Elements a bit loose?
Does anyone else have the problem where the bottom cover/part of the Western Digital Elements is a bit loose? It doesn't feel sunken in and whenever I pick it up, it feels as if it is going to drop off. Mine's the 2.5" edition.

I know what you mean - some of mine have it, including a couple that I got back from RMA. I would imagine it's glued in place. I'm thinking I got what I paid for - these are by a small margin the cheapest 500Gb drives I could pick up. I stopped buying these and went for more Seagate Goflex's, which are more versatile for someone like me in any case (e.g. if I'm swapping out a factory HDD with an SSD, the Goflex modular interface can be pulled off and jammed straight into a bare 2.5" drive).
PS: They might have gone wrong as a percentage far more than my other 2.5" drives, but I can report that WD's warranty is totally painless to deal with.
