I have been searching for days for a specific product. I'm trying to find a simple, small, bluetooth remote control for a smartphone, and it doesn't seem like such a product exists.
I have a car with bluetooth phone support, but not A2DP, so I've purchased a Tunelink to get music and podcasts to my car stereo, and I love it! The problem is, I'm really not comfortable controlling my audio via my phone's screen. It's simply not safe to use a touchscreen while driving, and I'm driving all the time for my business. I'd much rather be able to grab a remote control and press a button or two, all without looking.
But it seems that nobody anywhere makes a device like this, and it surprises me. I thought perhaps one of my fellow gadget fans from GDGT might have an idea of whether such a thing exists.
I'm mostly looking for a remote for my Galaxy Nexus, but I'd assume such a thing would work for anything with bluetooth, as long as it had the relevant profiles.
Thanks for any help you might have!
