Question about
Best podcatcher for Windows?
I'm looking for the best podcatcher application for Windows. I've been using the Zune software for some time now, because it has the best presentation and visual appeal of any of the software I've seen so far. It has big downsides, though: it frequently forgets my place in a podcast when I stop, and the seek bar on the bottom is ludicrously small. A millimeter shift of that seek bar in a two hour podcast is something like 5-10 minutes, and that makes it impossible to use.
So what are the alternatives? I'd like to avoid iTunes, please :) Plus, the seek bar in that isn't much better...
So far I've tried the following:
Juice (horrible interface, couldn't get it to download anything)
DoubleTwist (terrible, wouldn't play back my video podcasts)
Miro (horrible episode management. Just awful)
Any others I should try?

Dignan17's pick
Hi Dignan17,
I personally use the Zune desktop software and the only problem that I've had with it, is that it tends to download a couple individual episodes of my podcasts twice. Hopefully microsoft would have these issues resolved some time in the future. Till then, might i suggest gPodder (gpodder.org/). I have used it in an earlier implementation, and heard that they've gotten much better since. I've stuck with Zune, because I have the HD player.
