Question about
Belkin gigabit powerline

First and foremost any speeds listed on a networking device are almost theoretical. Powerline adapters, much like wireless, can really vary on performance. Certain factors like circuits, age of wiring, complexity of wiring can all play factors in how well they perform. Some have had success with powerline and others have had better success with MoCA devices. MoCA work the same as powerline except that they use the coax in your house but again they are limited based on wiring & splitters of coax.
