Question about
dave

Been having a TON of dropouts while gaming lately.

I had a similar problem about a year ago and the solution was to move our wireless router farther away from the base station. Neither the base station or my router has moved since I originally wrote about this problem in November 2009, so not sure why I'm suddenly having tons and tons of drop outs again.

It'll be nearly unusable for quite a few minutes at a time. I've changed to fresh batteries to no avail.

It's frustrating. Any ideas?

Tips for giving the best answers

Sometimes it's just little details that separates a great and not so great answer! Here are a few simple tips to keep in mind:

1
Be complete and thorough. Don't skimp on the details!
2
Try not to answer with a question. Because that's not really an answer, right?
3
A little research goes a long way. Back up your claims and assumptions!
4
Try to be patient, tech questions can be complicated.
