anyone know the difference between the d5 and d5mkii
if you have the mki pack it wont do what the mkii will
i.e. battery status in the menu
know one I've spoken to know not even the local store

It's 2 completely different batteries. The 5d Mark I batteries will NOT work in the Mark II and vice-versa.
