Awesome gadget, horrible phone? Or is it the network?
I'm pretty sure I can cancel my contract, my 30 day cancel period isn't up til the end of the week. I figure I'll try AT&T next, but none of their phones compare. Does anyone else have signal problems with the Omnia? If that isn't the issue, I'd love to see if I can get it unlocked and onto the AT&T network instead of trying to return it to Verizon. That is possible isn't it? I want my gadget, but dangit I want to make calls on it too.
I don't think the Verizon version of the Omnia is a World Phone and Can Support GSM, correct me if I'm wrong but I doubt you could throw it on AT&T.

No problems here...and I'm not a fan of Verizon.

I like the phone and the voice quality is good, but the raw signal bar reception is subpar.

The SAMSUNG customer service centre in Malaysia where I'm residing now gives good services.
I believe your Phone Service Provider holds the key to "quality calls, etc." ... mine here is called DIGI.
BTW my model is able to service EDGE, GSM, etc. and esp. WiFi with excellent results.
I'm GLAD I found this interesting & helpful site.

The only thing that sucks about the i910 Omnia is the stock software.
Replace nearly everything and the phone becomes awesome.
-but that's if you're willing to do the work! :)

Also, Verizon has new ROM to re-flash the Omnia with...call tech support to walk you thru it...its adds some nice little touches to an already great phone, and it frees up the GPS so you can use GoogleMaps properly....no more VZNavigator!!
