Automatic lens cap?

... that isn't, as I may have said elsewhere, tapped by the ugly stick?

So I predicted in my review, and knew as soon as I got the camera, that the lens cap was eminently loseable, so I presciently bought a spare...

... which I've now also lost. I could go on buying spares, but they're not exactly cheap for a lump of plastic.

The next one I'll try and drill with holes for a thin lanyard to go through to attach to the eyelets of the camera in the same manner as the D-Lux's but I was wondering if there was another option for lens caps.

I'm aware of an automatic lens cap that you can get for it which is a similar design to an auto lens cap that was introduced by a third party for the D-Lux, but it is pretty darned ugly, especially in use.

I might pick one up to see how well it works, but are there any other more elegant options, or am I best off with mini drill, factory cap and lanyard?
