Question about
As Googles new reader, Does google ebook store keep a digital locker like B&N when you buy a book to download to the Iriver?
Yup they do. Just like in the Android Market. If you change of hardware (new phone), the apps you had on your previous phone are linked to your Google account (that is if you've got that setting turned on... don't worry, its on by default). So, your apps will be downloaded on your new phone automatically OTA (over the air).
Same thing happens with Google Books.
Although.. on another subject, I consider myself a Google fanboy; and I've owned iRiver products way back (I had an MP3 reading discman and a dedicated MP3 player, back when iPods weren't around...). But this device just doesn't seem like a good idea. I own and love the B&N NookColor. I'd recommend taking a look at it.
