Question about
As a designer, I have conference calls with clients pretty regularly.
My smartphone has been my primary and only phone for last five years or so, and up until recently, I've been content using wired headsets for extended phone calls. I think it's time to get a Bluetooth headset that doesn't require a physical tether to my device, though, and I'm interested in hearing which models gdgt users like/find comfortable for use at a desk or around the office.
I've heard good things about Aliph's line of products from friends, but seeing as I've not owned a Bluetooth headset before, any input is most appreciated.
Which Bluetooth headsets do you like and recommend?

I stopped using my bluetooth awhile back for no real reason other than I talk less than I used to. I have a Jawbone by Aliph and felt that if the 3 bluetooth earpieces I have owned, it was by far the best in design, build quality and sound quality.

I use slightly different and more sophisticated systems which hooks into my Avaya exchange, but have you thought about an office-specific system like the Plantronics Savi series? It's a combined PC headset and Bluetooth headset, and allows you to switch fairly seamlessly between e.g. Skype and your mobile. The form factor and performance is less 'chi-chi mobile' and more 'workhorse' as well, if you're only using it in your office. The Savi GO is as far as I know pretty cheap.

I have a Plantronics Voyager Pro that I sometimes use at home. I don't like wearing headsets but it's come in handy for use around the house for both phone calls and Skype. It's comfortable, sounds good, and has noise canceling, which comes in handy if you live in a noisy neighborhood.

I have not personally tried out a Jawbone headset but I've heard people say that BlueAnt headsets are better in direct comparison. I'm not sure if you got a chance to check out their booth at the gdgt event in SF but I have a Q2 and it's pretty awesome.
