Are you experiencing data connectivity issues on your Verizon iphone 4s?

I activated my new iphone 4s for Verizon on Saturday night, but noticing that even at full signal strength, in areas where coverage is strong and other VZW phones are connecting fine, my iphone is struggling. Main errors are "Could not activate cellular data network" (again, despite full signal), or just overall lag. Do you think it's the phone, or the network?

There was a similar question posted about data connectivity issues. They have a few recommendations there on how to fix this: gdgt.com­/question­/iphone­-4s­-data­-issues­-gqv/. Doesn't seem like it's a Verizon specific issue since those people were experiencing this with AT&T.
