Are there any options for Tablets except iPad series?

That's a pretty divisive, incendiary question. =) There are *always* options, it just depends what you want to accomplish. I have a Sony Tablet S (Android)[1] and it's pretty good. I briefly tried one of the ASUS Transformer series in a local electronics store, and that was nice, too. Google just announced the Nexus 7 tablet, and most folks expect that to be a pretty good device, too.

That said, only you can determine which is right for you. I've tried a few alternatives, but nothing beats my iPad. I fell in love with it when it was announced a little over two years ago, before I even held it in my hands; now in its third iteration, I fall in love with it all over again every time I use it.

Whatever you decide, tablets are really fun, useful devices. I hope you enjoy yours. =)

If you can afford it the asus transfomer infinity is a superb alternative. Think of it as a 10 inch google nexus 7 with all the bells and whistles. The only thing it lacks is jelly bean which it should get soon according to asus.

i just ordered a new Google Nexus 7 as a alternative size
the specs are great, price is unbeatable, Google design experience, i like Asus stuff
