Apple TV: There was an error loading this content

Lately I've been getting this error a lot on my second generation Apple TV. A quick search of the Apple forums shows I'm not the only one. I was just wondering if anyone in the gdgt community knows of a fix.

I have two Apple TV and have not seen this error. Quite frequently I get the error where the content is not authorized so I have to remove and reauthorize the host computer. I just upgraded to 4.4.3(3323) in the last week. I may have skipped 4.4.2 as that was the one that had issues and was released multiple times.

I see this all the friggin' time. Almost always on Netflix. Can't remember ever seeing it on my own iTunes content. I always chalk it up to evening Netflix congestion / bandwidth issues. VERY frustrating. Sometimes I'll source-off AppleTV and watch Netflix through TiVo with no problem. It seems Apple TV is much less forgiving of network congestion than the TiVo HD.

I've seen this error quite a bit lately. If I load Netflix on my Roku or PC everything is fine. I go back in to AppleTV and I get the error. It seems to be an issue with the AppleTV and Netflix. Restarting does not resolve the issue. Latest update does not seem to have resolved the issue either.

It's not a Netflix issue because it happens to me with podcasts. Restarting the unit by holding down Menu and the down button until you see the Apple logo has temporarily fixed this for me. Hopefully it lasts.
