Question about
anyone managed to get fuppes (uPnP media server) to work on the drobo FS with a PS3.
I can see on the PS3's XMB that there is a media server running but do not manage to see any of the files in the directories I added... :-(
You have to refresh the fuppes database. From the fuppes admin page click on options and click on 'rebuild database'. Depending on how much stuff you have in your shares it could take a while. (mine took several hours, I left it overnight) Once that's done you should see all your shares and their folder structures on your PS3 in the fuppes directory.
Right now I'm also trying 'rebuild virtual container'. I suspect that gives the videos and such screenshots instead of generic placeholder images but I'm not sure. We'll see how it goes.
