Anyone having mic problems with the Galaxy Nexus?

Verizon 32 GB. Talking to someone when suddenly the caller on the other end can't hear you. Started happening first at 20 minutes into a phone call and is now happening about one minute into the call.

Not had this problem with mine... maybe yours is defect? Swap it out for warranty replacement perhaps. Make sure your cheek isn't pressed too much on the screen while talking... I've seen other models.. OG Droid was especially bad about this. It sounds like an isolated issue though. Good luck!

I just did a warranty exchange and my new one is starting to do the samething.

Hey, I am a in-store tech for Verizon.

Make sure you follow up with 611 and let them know what is going on. I don't want you to get stuck out of you WFG 14 day return period.

This is not an issue I have heard with this device!

I have been looking around the Internet and have found several forums where people are having the same issue. Can I return my warranty exchange for a totally different phone like a droid razar? I have deleted all apps and done a factory reset with no help.

I really hope that Verizon takes care of us one way or another. My phone has been doing this since I got it. I have called to report the issue, but I have not gotten a response from them.
It seems like if you are having the problem a new phone doesn't fix it. Maybe it has something to do with the accounts. I have read that some people have gotten 3 phones and still have the same issue. The odds of 3 gnex phones being bad are slim to none.

Tons of people are having this problem. It is belived to be a software issue. Changing phones and sim cards has not helped people.
