Question about
Anyone had problems with your iMac not going to sleep after a day or so of up-time?
I have an external USB HD for time machine hooked up. I run MagicPrefs, but other than that, everything is pretty bare-bones.... I can't seem to figure out how to correct this sleep issue...
I've run into this problem on occassion. Have you tried resetting your iMac's PRAM? Restart the computer, and hold down the Command + Option + P + R keys at the same time until the Apple logo appears; the computer will restart itself again. If you have a wireless keyboard, you'll need to press those keys as soon as you hear the Mac startup chime.
You can also try resetting the SMC; power off the computer, unplug the power cord, wait half a minute, then plug it back in and power it up.
