Anyone else having problems with the FlipShare software?

I generally like the idea of FlipShare and find it pretty useful because I'm lazy and it makes it easier to transfer, organize, and upload videos. But it's been giving me problems, like:

* When I close FlipShare, the program doesn't actually close, and I have to go into the Task Manager to shut it down.
* If I shut my laptop or it goes into sleep mode while FlipShare is still open, when I bring it back FlipShare will refuse to acknowledge I have a working Internet connection (I have to restart the program to upload anything after this, leads back to the above problem).
* FlipShare won't let you upload videos to YouTube that are more then 10 minutes long, even if YouTube does (this was enabled for my YouTube account last year).
* FlipShare keeps asking if I want to update to the new version, and when I say yes, it doesn't actually do it. I have FlipShare 5.10, I'm going to try going to the website and downloading 5.11 from there.

Has anyone else been having similar problems, and have any better suggestions than simply crossing my fingers and hoping they'll fix these things eventually?

Note: Cisco has stated they'll continue to support (develop) FlipShare to the end of 2012, so these problems aren't related to Cisco's decision to end the Flip line.

I've downloaded FlipShare 5.12 from the website and updated the program; it seems to have fixed my first two problems (closing the program and the Internet connection).

I have definitely run into the not-updating problem in the past, but haven't encountered any of the other issues you list.

I work for a school district and we've seen tons of issues with the FlipShare software. It often freezes the mouse when opening the software until you log out and back in. Teachers love the software when it works, but it seems to be a nightmare to try and use in an enterprise setting. I think we're going to give up using it and try using Windows Live Movie Maker.
