Anyone else have a problem with the auto-focus?
I have two lens, the stock and a 1.8 prime lens. Both will not auto-focus. The lens work fine on another nikon camera.
My D40 autofocuses perfectly, except, of curse, under low contrast scenarios. Are you sure lenses AF switch is correctly positioned and you are using AF-S lenses? This camera demands motorized lenses. My Sigma 70-300 lens does not autofocuses with this camera, for example.
