The full screen app features is really useful, especially because Apple treats them like their own desktop so nothing can interfere.

Also, the multitouch gestures are actually really useful and kind of revolutionize the way we interact with full fledged operating systems. I was hesitant at first, but now I'm sort of addicted to them.

Lastly, the Search feature Apple demoed in WWDC in Mail is also found in Finder so you can do boolean searches for files in a neat/easy way across the OS. Finder's new "All My Files" feature is actually pretty great, the default view isn't that special but it's when you're in an app that it comes to life. When in an app, say Keynote for example, and you click "Open", it defaults to the "All My Files" finder view, except it is filtered to only files that can be opened by that app. So in the case of Keynote, I only see powerpoint and keynote presentations in that view, add to that boolean search tokens and you've got a completely different way of finding files quickly and effectively.

When I tried the first developer preview months ago and switched back to Snow Leopard, the thing I actually missed the most is the scrolling direction change. I really liked it once I got used to it! It takes about two days to transition from one way of scrolling to getting used to another, though.

I'm really enjoying the fullscreen feature, too, combined with the two finger swipe to different spaces to the left and right.

There are massive improvements to Address Book, in that you can now add birthdays without years (for your insecure friends who don't reveal how old they are) as well as Facebook, Twitter, Skype and other information. Syncing contacts with Google seems to go smoother than before, though now I don't use it because of the free iCloud usage.

The new day view on iCal is superb! There's also other cosmetic changes that I like a lot. Oh, and the App Store runs significantly faster than it does on Snow Leopard.

I don't see myself ever using Launchpad. Quicksilver plus an Applications stack in my dock are more than enough for launching apps. In fact I haven't ever opened Launchpad more than once.

The very latest is the Golden Master, so yes.
