Anybody else having issues with the 10/11/2011 Photon update?
I just got the update this morning and I am having bugs appearing in apps randomly. Keyboard support in MusicMod went squirrelly and now the Enter key won't trigger playback of a song. I have had Gmail do this weird thing where the message view will get stuck on a message that was just viewed and will continue to show that same email no matter which one you click on in the list of emails. Google Listen has hung up once, requiring a Force Stop and re-open. There seems to be some issue with the phone reestablishing a data connection, even if wifi is on, after a reboot (which I have done twice today already). Not sure if it is just me, coincidental flukes, or something broken in this version. Anybody else got any feedback on this update yet?
Looks like I have identified the problem. The app MusicMod seems to have been the culprit. I noticed that it would do weird things when trying to use it with a bluetooth keyboard, so I switched to using the default music player and haven't had any other oddities since my last reboot. Something about the errors that were happening in MusicMod was bringing the whole display engine to its knees after a certain amount of time. I'm guessing a memory leak was getting triggered or something. Weird.
