Question about
Any way to enable iPad shortcuts using Apple Bluetooth Keyboard?
So I just picked up an Apple Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad 2. I had a keyboard dock for my iPad 1 laying around, but because it's not specifically designed for the second generation tablet (I've read that it damages the 30-pin connector) and the fact I just backed an awesome Kickstarter project (WINGStand), I opted for the BT accessory.
While the dock was a little annoying to lug around, I loved being able to use the shortcut keys: F7 through F9 for music controls, F10 through F12 for volume controls, F1 and F2 for brightness, etc. (Interesting tidbit, the new Bluetooth keyboards have spaces for Mission Control and Launchpad).
But now, with the Bluetooth variation, I'm not able to use the controls. Some work, for example Cmd+ A to select all (but only within text box, not a webpage), but the majority do not.
Is there any way to re-enable these shortcuts-- jailbreak suggestions welcomed!
Thanks for your help!

Weird, according to a Gigaom, there are a number of standard shortcuts that supposedly work with the iPad. Have you given them a try (perhaps while pressing the "fn" key in addition to the function key?)
Gigaom says the following shortcuts should work on the Bluetooth keyboard:
CMD – c (Copy selected text)
CMD – x (Cut selected text)
CMD – v (Paste)
CMD – z (Undo)
CMD – shift – z (Redo)
CMD – Up Arrow (Jump to top of document)
CMD – Down Arrow (Jump to bottom of document)
CMD – Left Arrow (Jump to beginning of line)
CMD – Right Arrow (Jump to end of line)
CMD – Delete (Delete everything on the current line to the left of the cursor)
Option – Delete (Delete the word to the left of the cursor, and its preceding space)
F1 (Dim Screen)
F2 (Brighten Screen)
F7 (Back one song)
F8 (Play/Pause Music)
F9 (Skip one song ahead)
F10 (Mute)
F11 (Volume Down)
F12 (Volume Up)
Eject key (Show/hide on-screen keyboard)

The dock is great for typing, but it kills me that I cant use basic shortcuts! Even just cmd + tab to switch between applications would be a start.
Does anyone know of any jailbreak hacks that can be used to make shortcuts work with this keyboard?
