How do the built-in notifications compare to growl? Is growl eventually going to become irrelevant?

Mountain Lion adds AirPlay. So in theory you can launch Hulu (not Plus) on your laptop using Safari, and then use AirPlay to play back a video. Does that work, or does Hulu somehow block such playback? How about other free sites like CBS or Fox?

I haven't used it extensively, but yeah, there's a lot of overlapping functionality, and Notifications does a great job aggregating a wide swath of information: email, messages, tweets (coming soon), plus system updates and sending them to the notification side bar. Between this and its seamless cross device syncing, it's hard to see the need for a third party app...

What is the Messagesa and Facetime integration like? Are video conference calls still an option as they were in iChat or is Facetime still just 1v1? Where has the screensharing feature gone? Messages? Facetime?
