Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I get this message every time I try to sync my iphone 3g 3.0 to itunes 8.2. I have to disconnect and reconnect it 10-20 times, and then for some reason, it decides to sync.
I have tried restoring the iphone and rebooting it to no avail. I have reinstalled itunes twice but that didn't work either. Is there another trick that I've missed?

I get the same message (although I only have to reconnect one) but had attributed to the non-3G dock that I use.
