Alternate housing options for Touch Pro2?

I have the European GSM HTC Touch Pro2. Understandably, I need(ed) my phone to be instantly available to me, rather than in some fancy-but-arduous case inside my pocket. So, the phone has gained some rather heavy (scuffs on plastic mostly) cosmetic damage.
I would like to change the housing (y'know, the casing/shell (not some external one. the actual housing)). like changing the case of your computer) for this phone (despite it no longer being my primary phone), but the best seller I have come across online for Touch Pro2 housing states: "VERY IMPORTANT: This housing part is solely designed for Sprint Touch Pro2."
Now, I understand fully that the housing styling differs for the Touch Pro2, from pretty much a different style for each US carrier (Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile) and then a 'standard' one for Europe (and possibly even further afield).

So, I was wondering, is there some internal difference to the Sprint version, or are they just saying it's only for the Sprint one because of the different external styling?

(I would prefer the Sprint housing if possible, as I much prefer the US colour schemes (other than the brown T-Mobile one) to the standard GSM one)

(Yes, I have contacted the seller, but they merely responded telling me to look at the info on PDAdb, which I have done many times before, and it gives me no information on the matter)
