I picked up this old piece of hardware in a move. It's hardware version B2 and apparently it has some problems. When it first comes online, I can connect to it via wireless and it will connect to the internet. However, after about an hour or two, the router connection to the internet drops. I can still connect to the wireless point, but it no longer has connectivity to the internet. I've tried changing the router firmware several times, and finding an alternate firmware.
So far, no dice. Has anybody else run into this problem, and if so, how have you solved it? Also, has anybody found an alternate firmware for his instead of the stock firmware?
Question about
Alternate D-Link router firmware?
DD-WRT, OpenWRT and Tomato don't seem to support this revision because it uses a different chipset.
However, there looks to be some beta firmware that might work. Use this at your own risk:

According the DD-WRT router database page, the DIR-615 is supported. Here is the page to double check: www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database
