After you get something new, what do you guys do with your older, outdated gadgets? Like your first gen Flip cameras and digital cameras.

If the hardware doesn't work and/or isn't something someone I know wants and isn't worth very much money, etc, then I send it to Gazelle (for good). www.gazelle.com/

But for cell phones I just recycle them from via my cell phone provider. If your phone is too old and no one will buy it then you have to recycle it to save it from the dump! Verizon will recycle your old cell phone for you when you buy a new one.

For stuff I do replace before it's completely broken, I tend to go the hand-me-down route. My mother is currently in possession of such gems as my Apex DVD player, my old Cyber-Shot digital camera, and both my Game Boy Color and original DS. I suspect I'll give her my DS lite if I upgrade to a DSi or the 3DS eventually.
