Question about
After unlocking, the keyboard backlight always turns on on full brightness.
Since upgrading to Lion on Sunday, every time I unlock my computer my keyboard backlight comes on on full brightness. And every time this happens, I turn the backlight off. Anyway to get me out of this endless cycle?

It appears to be a Lion bug. Someone suggested resetting the SMC but apparently that doesn't fix it. Only workaround is to dim it manually using F5 key but unfortunately that is only a temporary fix.

Something might be funky with the ambient light sensor. Try disabling it here:
System preferences → Keyboard → uncheck "Automatically illuminate keyboard in low light."
